Cellulite is caused by two things, 1) Fatty tissue and 2) Connective tissue. The appearance of cellulite is caused when the width of the fatty tissue exceeds the width of the connective tissue and when the connective tissue loses elasticity.
The first can be taken care of primarily by diet and working out. Drink your fair share of water, don’t eat too much and work out to maintain your metabolism. The second is more problematic and gets worse as you age because collagen is not regenerated so the tissue becomes less elastic and of course most people gain weight as they age because of a less active life style and a drop in metabolism.
There are treatments out there that are supposed to be able to help with both the fatty tissue and the connective tissue. The treatments reduce the fat and provide elasticity to the connective tissue. Some of their names include Mesotherapy, Velasmooth and Endermologie. Explanations for all can be found on the attached site.
i have been using vitimin E creme on the stretch marks for about 6 months and all it did was fade the purple color a bit, but they are still clearly there and embarassing as anything.
I was wondering, is there and cellulite cream that may tighten the skin, or even surgery (not seriously thinking about surgery right now, but may in the future if this doesn’t go away)?

There is no such remedy that would melt cellulite away overnight, you have to work really hard on it to get results. But it really IS possible to get rid of it!
In short: nutrition, exercise, massages and scrubs are important. Also body wrapping procedures. However, all these have to be taken in the right order to work – and in several weeks your cellulite will be invisible – guaranteed. I work on it all the time and nobody knows I got cellulite.

I bought the box for 17 bucks, at target, which came with the pills and the cream. I also bought the patches, which were ten dollars. And they worked. I was really really surprised with the results!
i have little cellulite, and bought nivea’s reshaping cream for orangpeel skin, and goodbye cellulite. i wrote to the company, and all they said was simply one is for cellulite, and one if for orange peel skin, and do not use both at once, but to use each on target area. i dont know what the difference is

Cellulite has been found to be indistinguishable from ordinary fat in every medical and scientific test. It is not proven whether any cosmetic lotion, massager or pills can reduce/increase cellulite versus ordinary fat.
